Pushpa Won Seven Honors

The 67th Filmfare Awards South 2022 was taken place at Bengaluru International Exhibition Centre on 9th October 2020. Icon Star Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna starrer Pushpa: The Rise, Prithviraj’s Ayyappanum Koshiyum, Suriya starrer Soorarai Pottru, and late Kannada superstar Puneeth Rajkumar received top honours.
The film, Pushpa: The Rise has walked away with seven honors at Filmfare Awards South and in addition to it, Allu Arjun’s Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo has also won three awards.

Best Actor in a Leading Role(Male) – Allu Arjun for Pushpa: The Rise
Best Director – Sukumar for Pushpa: The Rise
Best Music Album – Devi Sri Prasad for Pushpa
Best Playback Singer – Male – Sid Sriram for Srivalli from Pushpa: The Rise
Best Playback Singer – Female – Indravathi Chauhan for Oo Antava
Best Cinematography – Miroslaw Kuba Brozek for Pushpa: The Rise
For Telugu, it was raining awards for actors, especially for films such as Pushpa: The Rise and Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. The award for Best Telugu movie has been grabbed by Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa: The Rise.
Producer Naveen Yerneni was received the award for bankrolling the movie. While Allu Arjun won the Best Actor award.
