Rajnikanth To Launch His Party In Jan 2021

Actor Rajinikanth, on Thursday, announced that he will be launching his own political party in January and also a big announcement expected this month. As he posted the same in his tweet, "A political party will be launched in January; Announcement regarding it will be made on December 31st,".
He further said that, In the upcoming assembly elections, their party will definitely win the assembly elections and give an honest, transparent, corruption free and spiritual politics without any religion or caste differences.
His political entry has been speculated since 1996 and got delayed by at least two decades. The state elections are scheduled for the summer. However, he did not clarify whether he would contest the 2021 state elections or not.
Back in March 2020, Rajinikanth said he would neither be the candidate of chief ministerial nor would he contest in polls, if it hasn’t changed, which would possibly dampen his entry in politics as many of his fans have been waiting to see him as the CM of Tamil Nadu.
As per the reports, he may not be launching the party over health issues, the South Indian Actor had met his fans on Monday in Chennai and promised that he would take a decision very soon.
In the media interaction, shortly after his Twitter announcement, the actor said he decided to enter politics to bring the change in Tamil Nadu. He said, “I am just an instrument. Only the people can bring about change. If I win, it is the people’s victory. If I am defeated, it will be their defeat. We need to change everything. If not now, then never”.
He further added, "This is the time for changing the destiny of Tamil Nadu and there is a lot of work to be done to launch a political party, we have already begun the process and I will put my best efforts to succeed in this process”.
Regarding his health, actor Rajinikanth said, “You know I underwent a kidney transplant and the doctors advised me against entering politics. But, for the people of TN, whose prayers only helped me recover when I was undergoing treatment in Singapore, I am ready to even sacrifice my life.”
