Rashmika Mandanna Spreads Light and Love: The Actress Shares Her Heartfelt Diwali Reflections

Rashmika Mandanna, known for her infectious smile and radiant energy, recently opened up about what makes Diwali truly special to her. In a candid chat with Mumbai Mirror, the actress spoke about the festival’s deeper meaning — togetherness, gratitude, and the simple joys that make the celebration shine.
“For me, Diwali has always been about sharing joy and creating memories,” she shared warmly. “It’s never the big things — it’s those little moments that make it special. Growing up, I loved decorating the house with diyas, making rangolis, and of course, sneaking in a few extra sweets before everyone arrived,” she added with a laugh.
Despite her hectic schedule of shoots and promotions, Rashmika never misses out on keeping the festive spirit alive. “Even if I’m not home, I make sure to light diyas, wear something traditional, and call my family. Sometimes I even join the puja virtually,” she revealed. “It’s not about doing it perfectly but feeling connected to your roots.”
The actress also shared her favorite part of the festival — being surrounded by loved ones. “When friends show up with food, decorations, and laughter, that’s when the house really comes alive. It’s about celebrating love, light, and those happy little moments that stay with you.”
Rashmika, who’s had a busy year with multiple film releases, expressed immense gratitude for the love she’s received. “This Diwali, I just want to spread more positivity and kindness — not just around me but through everything I do.”
And, of course, no Diwali for her is complete without sweets. “I can’t resist kaju katli — it’s my forever favorite!” she laughed. “Diwali is all about a little extra sweetness, after all.”
