Story:
Shakalaka Shankar who is seen as RGV lures budding actresses to satisfy his personal needs by promising film offers to them. One day, he meets a producer, (Kathi Mahesh) who aspires to make a movie with him. But instead of coming up with a unique story, he wishes to make movies on sensitive subjects like Miryalagudahonour killing, and Pawan Kalyan’s political career. This leaves the producer irritated and he decides to teach RGV a valuable lesson. The rest of the story depicts the way in which the producer, RGV’s personal assistant, and a few others, who happen to be Pawan Kalyan’s fans, teach him a moral lesson.
Positive Points:
Satires on RGV
Witty dialogues
Performance
Negative Points:
Repetitive scenes
Monotonous screenplay
Performance: Shakalaka Shankar essayed the role of RGV and his impersonation is ok. He partly succeeded in getting the mannerisms right but goes extreme the imitation act at times. Kathi Mahesh plays the role of a film producer and he played well in his role. Lahari Shari gets a brief role and she does a decent performance. The rest of them perform to the best of their capabilities.
Technical Aspects: Bigg Boss fame, Nutan Naidu turned director with this movie and he exposes his love and admiration for Pawan Kalyan. The movie is a mockery of RGV and predominantly accuses the controversial director of unethical behavior. The songs in the film are boring and the background score is apt. There is nothing much to speak about the other technical prospects of the movie.
Analysis: This film might leave a few Pawan Kalyan’s fans excited as the climax highlights Pawan’s political beliefs. The film is a token of retaliation from Pawan Kalyan’s fans to RGV who has been trying to annoy Pawan Kalyan with ‘Power Star’ film. The song which comes, in the end, will go well with fans of Pawan Kalyan’s and ardent followers.
