Saaho Movie Review – Weak Storyline and Too Many Twists!
Saaho is the most-awaited film from years. After Baahubali, Prabhas has completely focused on Saaho and did hard work for two years. Not only Prabhas, but the whole Saaho team has worked very hard. Does the film worth all the hard work? Let’s see!
Cast: Prabhas, Shraddha Kapoor, Mandira Bedi, Jackie Shroff, Chunky Pandey and others
Director: Sujeeth
Saaho Movie Story: The most powerful group of a criminal syndicate is headed by Roy (Jackie Shroff). Ashok (Prabhas) handles the situation single-handedly and battles the gang. How Ashok gives up everything to save the city under fire and risks his life to save the lives of others should be seen on the screen.
Saaho Movie review:
Prabhas did a good job as an undercover cop but he has shown a lazy attitude in a few scenes and then Shraddha is perfect in her role. She carried out both the serious and romantic scenes very well. Jackie Shroff as Roy is good and Neil Nitin Mukesh as Jai is okay in his role. Among all the villains, Chunky Pandey as Devraj played very well. Arun Vijay, Prakash Belavadi, Evelyn Sharma, Lal, Mandira Bedi, Mahesh Manjrekar, Tinnu Anand, Murali Sharma and Vennela Kishore performed well. Visuals are stunning and action sequences are mind-boggling. But the storyline is weak as it is predictable. There are too many twists in the film. Sujeeth, the director of the film, got a wonderful opportunity to prove his stamina. Though he did only one film before Saaho, he was given a chance but he didn’t utilize it very well. Production values are superb. BGM is fabulous and the credit goes to Ghibran but all remaining music directors and singers messed up the songs. Editing is terrible as the audience have to take time to connect the dots.
What’s Good?
Prabhas performance
Shraddha’s glamour
Production values
Action sequences
Cinematography
What’s Okay?
Direction
Music
What’s Bad?
Predictable storyline
Too many twists
Verdict: On the whole, Saaho is for the people who love action sequences and visuals. But, if you are the one who feels exhausted for too many twists and turns, you can skip the film.
