Saaho’s Futuristic Fictional City

If you watch the Saaho teaser, you will notice that there is a desert in the backdrop along with skyscrapers in the background. All the action is happening right in front of it. But to your surprise, it is not any desert location like Emirates, where these scenes are shot.

As per reports, Saaho team has created their own fictional city in the deserts of Abu Dhabi. The reasons for doing so are unknown. However, it took them about two years and they have spent almost sixty-five crores to create this set. Sabu Cyril was the lead production designer behind creating this fantastic landscape.

The name of this fictional city is not yet revealed. It is assumed that the fictional city of Gotham from Batman series might have inspired director Sujeeth to come up with this idea. Danilo Bollettino, special effects supervisor who is known for films like Wonder Woman and Avenger: Age Of Ultron was hired to create visual effects in the city. Magadheera supervisor Kamal Kannan was also involved in this task. 300 digital artists from India and abroad supported them.

After spending so many efforts on creating a fictional city, let us hope that they don’t go waste and the movie becomes a super hit. The movie will hit the floor on 30^th August.
