Samantha Becomes Mother of Rao Ramesh:

2018 proved to be a fruitful year for Samantha Akkineni with a string of critical-cum-commercial acclaimed flicks like ‘Rangasthalam’, ‘Mahanati’, ‘U-Turn’ and a couple of Tamil films.

Samantha Akkineni is playing the female lead in an upcoming Telugu movie, the remake of Korean movie - Miss Granny. The movie is directed by Nandini Reddy. Samantha will be seen playing the role of 70 years old lady. The makers have roped Rao Ramesh in this remake and he will be seen playing the role of Samantha Akkineni’s son. Samantha’s granny character and Rao Ramesh as her son will be one of the major highlights of this film.

‘Miss Granny’ showcases the story of a 70-year-old grandma who magically finds herself in the body of her 20-year-old self after clicking a picture in a mysterious studio. An official confirmation regarding the cast & crew is still awaited.
