Shaadi Mubarak Movie Review

Tv screen actor Sagar RK Naidu is famous for his roles in Telugu TV shows such as Mogalirekulu, and Chakravaakam and now he is pinning high hopes on his film, Shaadi Mubarak. The film is touted to be a comedy caper and here is the review of the film.
Movie: Shaadi Mubarak
Star Cast: RK Sagar, Drishya Raghunath
Director: Padmasri
Producer: Sirish–Laxman
Music: Sunil Kashyap
Story:
In the search of a suitable life partner, Sunnipenta Madhav (Sagar RK) returns to India and gets in touch with a marriage bureau and the owner agrees to set him up with partners. But things take interesting turns after the marriage bureau sends her daughter Satyabhama(Drishya) along with Madhav for bridal brief look. The journey of them forms the rest of the story.
Screen performances:
Sagar RK Naidu is a trained and experienced actor, he puts all of it to use as he essays a simple and settled guy. He looks confident in his role, but he could have done well in some emotional scenes. Drishya Raghunath is a noted person in Malayalam movies and the actress is making her Tollywood debut with this film. The actress stutters in emotional scenes. Comedians Rahul Ramakrishna and Bhadram are good in their roles and generate some laughter.
Technical aspects:
Shaadi Mubarak treads a similar path as all other normal stories but the director Padmasri introduced bridal glances concept to make a little more interesting concept. A few comedy scenes in the first half generate laughter, but for some reason, emotional connection is less. The narration falls flat in some episodes. The climax is very underwhelming and the cinematography done by Srikanth deserves a special mention. Sunil Kashyap’s background score add some value to the movie. Editing work should have done better.
Positive Points:
Comedy scenes
Srikanth’s visuals
Sunil Kashyap’s music
´
Negative Points:
Screenplay
Narration
No emotion connect
Weak climax
Overall Verdict:
The film, Shaadi Mubarak was touted to be a romantic comedy entertainer, but it fails to keep the audience engaged all the way through. If you are going with the least possible expectations then you might find it entertaining here and there.
