The film is set for re-release on November 4th, courtesy of Mega Productions. The trailer for this much-anticipated re-release was unveiled recently, with Mega brother Nagababu and actor Srikanth doing the honors.
At the trailer launch event, Nagababu expressed his happiness at the film's re-release, remarking that it has been 19 years since the movie's initial release. He highlighted how movie-watching habits have changed with the advent of streaming platforms and TV channels, making such classic films vital for the theatrical experience. He reminisced about the film's production, including the presence of Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan's cameo appearance, and Vaishnav Tej's child artist role. Nagababu also mentioned the late Ahuti Prasad, a dear friend of his, whose memory was evoked by the trailer.
Srikanth, reflecting on 2004, shared an interesting anecdote about his involvement in the film. He revealed how he casually suggested playing a character alongside the hero, Chiranjeevi, and was surprised when the opportunity materialized.
