She is fair-skinned, as her parents are French, born in Pondicherry, India. She was called a Russian Prostitute in one article that was written about her when she was new to the film industry.

It’s the judgemental mentality of the media who said such words. With the years, the actress grew thicker-skinned and feels that it is a superpower to not read into that kind of stuff anymore.
