Siddharth Apologizes for Belittling Revanth Reddy's Orders
Recently, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy called on filmmakers to release videos against drug consumption as part of a social awareness campaign. However, actor Siddharth, who was in Hyderabad to promote his film Indian 2, initially contradicted the CM's request. He stated that a Chief Minister can request, but not order, actors to do anything.
Shortly after making these remarks, Siddharth issued an apology and agreed to comply with Revanth Reddy's request. The Indian 2 team, including actors Kamal Hassan and Siddharth, and director S. Shankar, also followed the CM's suggestion. They recorded a special video to raise awareness about the dangers of drug use and combat the drug menace. Siddharth clarified his earlier statement, apologized, and expressed his commitment to supporting social causes.
