Similarity between Geethanjali and Manmadhudu 2!

Nagarjuna’s ‘Geethanjali’, a romantic love film which was released in 1989 is still remembered by everyone for its wonderful story, comedy and emotional performance of Nagarjuna and Girija Shettar. Apart from comedy and love, the passionate kissing scene in the climax is the highlight of the film. Now, in a recent interview, Nagarjuna revealed that his upcoming film Manmadhudu 2 also has an emotional kissing scene in the climax!

The teaser which is released some time ago has also proved that there is a lot of kissing scenes in the film. But, all of them are romantic kisses. Now, Nag revealed that the film has a passionate kissing scene between him and Rakul in the climax. Nag also revealed that he thought that the climax kissing scene will be deleted by the censor board. But, luckily, the censor board didn’t object it.

Geethanjali is about a happy guy who diagnoses with cancer. He leaves to Ooty to spend his last days and then he sees heroine. Though the story starts off with a quarrel between leads, they slowly fall in love with each other. Later, the hero realizes that his girlfriend is also suffering from a terminal illness. The movie ends with an emotional kissing scene which remained as one of the best scenes of the film.

However, in Manmadhudu 2, Nag will be seen as a womanizer and finally, he realizes his true love for Rakul and the film ends with a passionate kissing scene. So, we can say that this emotional kissing scene is the similarity between both Nag’s films!
