Story:
The film starts with a narration between the Indian Army and terrorists. Afreen (Rashmika Mandanna) is back to her homeland Pakistan from London after facing an issue and her grandfather gives her a letter to make it reach Sita (Mrunal Thakur).
Balaji (Tharun Bhascker) helps her in finding Sita and they get a lead to find the whereabouts of Ram (Dulquer Salmaan). The proceedings shift to the introduction of Lieutenant Ram in 1964, who is an orphan and is posted at POK along with his colleagues to protect the borders, he receives letters from a girl Sita.
Later he meets her after exchanging the letters and love story starts between them. This is the time he goes on a secret mission to Pakistan and gets caught by the soldiers there and what is the secret mission? What happened to their love story? To get these answers, one should watch the film Sita Ramam on the silver screen.

Performance:
Dulquer Salmaan stays within the character and entertains class lovers with his performance and he comes up with an outstanding performance in the movie. He justifies his role 100%. Mrunal Thakur looks beautiful and her chemistry with Dulquer is the main assets of the film. Sumanth gets the best role of his career and Rashmika is a perfect fit for the role of Afreen. The actress excels in her role as the story’s main narrator and adds a lot of interest to the narration. Rest of the cast perform accordingly.
Technical Aspects:
Cinematography is outstanding. Framing and movement of the camera is used to enhance the magnitude of the movie. Music composed by Vishal Chandrasekhar is excellent and the background music is seamlessly integrated with the scenes and camera movements to give maximum effect.
Production design deserves a special note and production values are super grand. Director Hanu Raghavapudi proves his mettle helming a class movie. Though the pacing is slow, Hanu keeps the audience engaged with a well written screenplay.
Overall Analysis:
The film, Sita Ramam is a perfect love story with mixed emotions. On the whole, the film has all the ingredients to work big at box office.
