Sreenivas Speaks About Rakshasudu

Rakshasudu is all set to be released tomorrow. This action thriller film is directed by Ramesh Varma and features Bellamkonda Sreenivas and Anupama Parameswaran in the lead roles. Talking about the movie Sreenivas said, “Rakshasudu will unveil a new me.” He is sure that the film will send shivers down the spine.
He further explained, “It’s a gritty psychological thriller. I play a newbie cop who is out to nail a serial killer responsible for a spate of brutal murders of school girls. He is a very relatable character; nothing like the typical hero I’ve played before. In fact, there are no songs that deviate from the gripping narrative that will keep the audience on the edge of their seats. It’s a first of me.”
“Children face so many atrocities and internalize them because they are unable to share. We read about so many cases of children being brutalized day in and day out, but no one really talks about it. Rakshasudu will be like a wakeup call to everyone”, claims Sreenivas. He also said that this was one of the most challenging roles that he has played till now.
Sreenivas made his debut with Alludu Sreenu, for which he received Filmfare award for the best debut south. He was last seen in Sita opposite Kajal Agrawal. In Rakshasudu, he is playing the role of a police officer. The film is a remake of Tamil film Ratsasan. The music is given by Ghibran. The movie was initially scheduled to be released on 18th July.
