Srikanth’s Marana Mrudangam Launched

It might be hard to find new and relatable titles for the film always. But by using the titles of old films, current filmmakers are making the old ones lose their shine. It has become common for heroes and the movie directors to use the old film names for new movies. Bangaru Bullodu, Gharshana, Pavitra Bandham are to name a few. Though these films have become hits using the titles of others, they may be called theft of creativity.
Coming to the point, Srikanth will be seen as a hero after a long gap. For his film, he is using Megastar Chiranjeevi’s movie title ‘Marana Mrudangam’. Chiru’s film was an action crime film that was applauded by one and all in 1988. Now, Srikanth is coming up with a film with the same title. The genre of the film is yet to be revealed. It seems Megastar has no objection with the title as Srikanth and the latter are good friends.
The movie was launched recently and the pics of Srikanth and the movie team are doing rounds on social media. The story, screenplay, and direction will be handled by Venkatesh Rebba. During the launch, Sarileru Neekevvaru director Anil Ravipudi has clapped the board and Kodandarami Reddy has switched on the camera. Multi-Color Frames is producing the film.
Srikanth was last seen in Naga Chaitanya’s film Yuddham Sharanam. Though Srikanth did many films in recent years as a hero, none of them have been recognized by the audience. Besides, Marana Mrudangam, Srikanth will also be seen as a lead in Marshal and Kothala Rayudu. Both movies are under the filming stage.
