Subrahmanyapuram Telugu Movie Review:
The storyline is the highlight of the movie, but the movie gives a feel of watching Nikhil’s Karthikeya movie which was released back in 2014. It seems the whole film was influenced by Karthikeya movie.
The second-half is engaging and the twist in the pre-climax is interesting. Sumanth as an atheist amazed the audience. Eesha Rebba looks beautiful and played well in her role. Senior actor Suresh gets a crucial role and did well.
Debutant director Santhosh Jagarlapudi did okay job as the story is predictable but he managed to give good twists in the second half.Production values are good and Sekhar Chandra’s background music is impressive. Camera work is good in some sequences. Editing can be done far better.
What’s Good:
- Storyline
- Twists in second half
- Lead actors performance
- BGM
What’s Okay:
- Direction
- Production values
What’s Bad:
- Gives a feel of already watched film Karthikeya
Verdict: On the whole, you may sometimes feel you are watching Karthikeya movie. But the twists in the second half will give enough satisfaction for the money you spent.
