Taapsee Pannu's Perfect Fitting Reply At IFFI 2019

Taapsee Pannu, who was recently seen at the 50th edition of International Film Festival of India 2019 (IFFI) in the session called Women in Lead, hosted by a Doordarshan anchor. A video is now doing the rounds of social media sites in which the actress is asked by someone in attendance to speak in Hindi as the actress was talking in English all over.
The person asked her from the audience, "Taapsee please thoda Hindi mein bol lo, kyunki Hindi filmein aap karti ho." which means, Taapsee, I request you to talk in Hindi since you do Hindi films.
To this Taapsee replied as, "Main toh bahut Hindi mein baat karti hoon." She added, "I am a South Indian actress also, you want me to speak in Telugu?"

Later, she was asked again on Twitter by a user who wrote, "kyunki Hindi elite nahi banati hai na", which means, the Hindi language does not make one an elite. To this she also replied in Hindi, "Elite bhasha nahi, soch banati hai", which means, Thoughts make one elite, not language.

In the event, she also revealed the amount that actresses get paid in Bollywood which is not even half of what the leading men get paid, and she also said that it is way less than one-fourth at times, to be honest, even less than that. Half of the salary of the leading hero is the entire budget of a female-driven movie of an A-list actress.
