Television Actress Sravani Kondapally Commits Suicide

Telugu TV actress Sravani Kondapally, who was seen in many serials like Manasu Mamatha, Naticharami has reportedly died by suicide on Tuesday, September 8 night. She has been active in the Telugu TV industry from the past 8 years and was seen in popular Telugu serials. Her untimely death has taken the cast and crew of the shows by surprise.

As per the latest updates, the actress was found hanging from the ceiling in the bathroom at her residence, which is in Madhuranagar, Hyderabad.

The body was later shifted to Osmania hospital for further investigation like postmortem. Police has already started their investigation. Meanwhile, Sravani's family stated that harassment by boyfriend Devraj Reddy forced Sravani to end her life.

The actress' family further said that Devraj, who is hailing from Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, has been harassing Sravani from a long time. They both became friends on TikTok and he approached her seeking roles in TV serials, soon they became close and she got him a role in a TV serial as well.

On Tuesday night, she went into the bedroom and closed the door, the family thought that she is having bath. As she was in washroom for a long time, her mother opened the door and found her hanging from the ceiling. They rushed her to the hospital where doctors confirmed that she was dead.

They have filed a complaint against Devraj in SR Nagar police station.
