It is known news that actor Sonu Sood is actively working towards helping migrant workers to reach their hometowns. Now, as per the recent news, he has helped 177 migrants, who were working in Kerala. They were flown back to their home to Orissa by Sonu Sood.

The actor was informed about the same by a friend, he arranged for permissions for the aircraft to be flown from Kochi to Bhubhaneshwar so that the girls could return home safely.

In a recent media interaction Sonu said that, “We got to know about these girls stranded in Kerala, we found out their phone numbers and spoke to them. I assured them to help. They were not having proper food and were desperate to return their homes.”

Many celebrities appreciated his efforts for helping the needy and poor people.

Neha Dhupia appreciated the actors efforts and posted as, “another super hero who doesn’t wear a cape and to everyone’s Rescue!!!”

Filmmaker Sanjay Gupta mentioned as, “So proud to say that, ‘Yeh mera yaar hai’.”

Recently, Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari appreciated the Sonu Sood's work during the lockdown.

To this, the actor replied, “Thank u so much, sir. Your words inspire me to work harder, will continue working for the migrant brothers and sisters till we unite them with their respective families.”

Sonu is actively replying to every message for help on his social media accounts. He had earlier said that he will continue sending migrants their home until the last migrant reunites with his family.
