The Raja Saab Likely to Release on Sankranthi, Avoiding Dhurandhar Clash

The Raja Saab, starring Prabhas and directed by Maruthi, is now expected to release around Sankranthi 2026 instead of December 5, 2025. Producer TG Vishwa Prasad, in an interview, hinted at a January 9 release due to market demand and possible clashes with Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar.
The producer stated that although the film will be ready by October, they are considering the best window for maximum impact. “We will do what’s right for us,” he said. He also revealed the film has 4.5 hours of raw footage, with the final cut expected to be 2 hours 45 minutes or 3 hours 15 minutes.
The Raja Saab is a horror-comedy featuring Prabhas in dual roles, alongside Sanjay Dutt, Nidhhi Agerwal, Malavika Mohanan (in her Telugu debut), and Riddhi Kumar. Produced by People Media Factory and IVY Entertainment, the film was initially set for April but was delayed due to production challenges.
A sequel is already planned, though it will follow a new storyline in the same universe. With music by Thaman S, the movie is building anticipation among fans eager for an official date.
