This Actress Replaces Tabu in Rana’s Film?

Rana Daggubati’s upcoming film ‘Virata Parvam’ is having its shoot at a fast pace. But, his US tour has resulted in the delay of the shoot which in turn resulted in date clashes of a few actors. It is already revealed that ‘Fidaa’ fame Sai Pallavi is playing the female lead while yesteryear actress Tabu will be seen in the role of a leader of the Naxalite gang. But, now, it is revealed that Tabu walked out of the film.

According to the sources, actress Tabu has a very tight schedule now and she can’t manage to give her dates. When she signed for the film, Rana tour is not expected and Tabu felt that she can manage her dates which became quite hard now. Currently, Tabu is acting in Bunny’s film under the direction of Trivikram Srinivas. After this movie, there are a series of Bollywood films in her hands. So, Tabu left with no option and walked out of Rana’s film.

Sources also revealed that director Venu Udugual approached popular actress Nandita Das to play the role. Nandita is well-known to Telugu audience as she won the hearts of Telugu people with her performance as an LTTE rebel in the film ‘Amrutha’. Though this film was released in 2002, people will never forget the wonderful performance of Nandita in Amrutha. Later, she was seen in an award-winning film ‘Kamli’.

Nandita has campaigned against cosmetics where she promoted 'Being dark is good' which fetched her good fame and recognition. It is yet to be known if Nandita has given her nod to play the role of Naxalite in this Telugu film. This will be her comeback film in Telugu if she signs for it!
