Tollywood Beauty on Actresses’ Remuneration!

Actress Priyamani was seen in considerable regional films. She did a good number of movies in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam before a few years. She was also seen in a few Hindi movies. After winning the National award for Paruthiveeran in 2007, Priyamani has raised her remuneration. And then the offers got reduced. Recently, she is back with a web series 'The Family Man'. Recently, the actress has spoken a few words about the remuneration of the actresses.

“Back then, the remuneration of the actresses is not as more as heroes and they were not given equal importance. If the actress asks for the hike, it bothers the producer. But now, a lot has changed. The actresses are demanding as much as they want and getting it. Anushka, Nayanthara and Samantha are perfect examples. It is very happy to see that actresses are now able to speak up for themselves,” Priyamani said.

The Bangalore-born actress also has said a few words about ‘MeToo’. She said ‘MeToo’ is a very powerful moment. “It should be appreciated that women are opening up against sexual harassment. It is not only in the film industry but also in IT companies, call centers, universities and everywhere. It’s the duty of people to react sensitively to the issue. Also, I request people to not believe every MeToo story,” ended Priyamani.
