Uppena Release Date Announced

If it wasn’t for Covid-19 pandemic situation and the subsequent lockdown, Vaishnav Tej‘s debut movie, Uppena would have hit the theatres last summer only. We are aware of the news that Panja Vaishnav Tej is making his debut with the film, Uppena. The movie has completed its shooting and post production activities almost 10 months back and has initially planned to release the film on April 2, 2020. However then, the pandemic situation and lockdown happened and the release has been postponed.

Though there were offers from many digital platforms for a direct to OTT release, but the makers refused. Now as the theaters are reopened and the audiences are willing to come to watch the films on big screen, the makers of Uppena have confirmed the new release date, which is on February 12th.

Krithi Shetty is making her debut with this film, Uppena. The actress is the female lead and even the director Buchi Babu Sana is making his debut with the film. Mythri Movie Makers are bankrolling this film. Devi Sri Prasad is rendering music for the film. Recently, the makers have released teaser of the film, which has been received with a positive response. The promotions of the upcoming film will speed up now.
