VD Pledges Organs For Donation

We are aware of the news that organ donation is one of the noblest ways to save lives and in recent years, there has been a rise in the number of people taking the pledge to donate organs.

Over the years, many celebs and noted personalities have pledged their organs.

Now, the latest person to join the bandwagon is pan-Indian actor Vijay Deverakonda. While speaking at an event organized by a Hyderabad-based hospital, he revealed that he already registered to donate his organs for saving the lives of others.

“The Liver Pancreas Foundation of Hyderabad has been set up with the right intention. Incredibly, we have so many people donating their organs on humanitarian grounds. I have pledged all my organs,” he said.

The actor also said that organs should not be wasted and that they have to be kept healthy so that they are perfect to be given away. Not only Vijay Deverakonda, but his mother as well pledged her organs.
