‘Valmiki’ Introduces Muni Manikyam!
Varun Tej’s Valmiki is getting a good response from the people. Recently released dialogue teaser has impressed the viewers very much and the rugged look of Varun caught the interest of the people instantly. The shoot of Valmiki is happening at a fast pace and now, actor Brahmaji joined the sets. Director of the film, Harish Shankar introduced Brahmaji as Muni Manikyam. It seems Brahmaji is going to entertain and tickle the funny bones of the audience with his comedy. The dubbing part of him has started yesterday.
Brahmaji made his debut in the film industry through the film ‘Mannemlo Monagadu’ in 1986. Later, he went on to act in supporting roles in many films. He has acted in more than 80 films. Recently, he was seen in Nani’s Jersey, Mahesh Babu’s Maharshi and Sai Tej’s Chitralahari. “Our new Acting Teacher is in Town ........ @actorbrahmaji as “Muni Manikyam....” Dubbing started .......,” Harish Shankar tweeted recently. Speaking about the film Valmiki, Varun Tej is going to be seen as a gangster in the film. The movie is bankrolled by Ram Achanta and Gopi Achanta. Valmiki is a remake of Tamil hit film Jigarthanda which is a mafia comedy film.
Though this is a remake, it is said that Harish Shankar is making some changes according to the taste of Telugu audience. Pooja Hegde who earlier acted with Varun Tej in Mukunda is playing the lead in this film too. Devi Sri Prasad is the music director. It is expected that Brahmaji will play the role of a short-film maker who aspires to make a feature film, there is no official confirmation though!
