Venky Mama 2 Days AP/TS Collections

Venky Mama, as expected, has collected handsome amounts at the box office in the first two days. Irrespective of the talk and review, the movie is entertaining the audience and collecting impressive figures. Movie lovers are queuing to watch mama-alludu sentiments on screens. Venkatesh, Naga Chaitanya, Payal Rajput, and Raashi Khanna are the leads and they are good in their roles. Venkatesh and Naga Chaitanya’s chemistry is a highlight of the film and it impressed and made the audience cry with emotions in the theatres.

The multi-starrer was released on December 13^th and collected over 8 crores on the release day. And by the second day, it has reached Rs 11. 83 crores share at the box office in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Nassar, Rao Ramesh, and Prakash Raj too played well. Geetha, the senior actress who essayed the role of Nassar’s wife, has also impressed the audience in Sentiment scenes.

KS Ravindra has directed the film while D. Suresh Babu and T. G. Vishwa Prasad jointly bankrolled the movie under Suresh Productions and People's Media Factory. Music was composed by S. Thaman. Though the music was not great, visuals have saved the songs. The comedy and emotions have worked out very well. Vidyullekha Raman as a friend of Raashi Khanna did good comedy in the first half. Until next Friday, Venky Mama has no competition and it is expected to collect nearly Rs 20 crores in AP and Telangana.

Speaking about Venky's upcoming films, he has signed for Asuran remake and soon, the movie will go on floors. Srikanth Addala will direct the film while Suresh Babu will produce it under Suresh Productions. Asuran is a Tamil action film directed by Vetrimaaran and produced by Kalaipuli S. Thanu under his production banner V Creations. Dhanush has played the lead. On the other side, Naga Chaitanya is busy with his upcoming film with Sekhar Kammula and Sai Pallavi was roped in to play the leading lady. The title ‘Love Story’ is in talks.
