Vijay Antony’s Tamil Roshagadu into Controversy
Vijay Antony’s upcoming film Roshagadu has been into controversy in Kollywood. The Tamil version of the film is titled Thimiru Pudichavan and it has been directed by Ganesha. Nivetha Pethuraj is going to see as the lead actress where Vijay Antony is playing the role of police.
The Tamil version is actually said to be released on November 6th but knowing that Sarkar is going to release on the same date, filmmakers postponed it. Later, they have decided to release the film on November 16th which had brought all the controversies in.
On the same day, other three movies which include Jyothika’s Kaatrin Mozhi are getting released and all these filmmakers are very unhappy with Roshagadu filmmakers choosing the same date.
In Tamil film Industry, it is mandatory for producers to seek an approval for a release date from the producer’s association. This rule was introduced to ensure that both small and big films get considerable number of screens and no congestion will takes place.
But now, producers have alleged that Vijay’s film breaks this rule and a great loss will be incurred to the other producers, if the film was released on the same date. We have to see how the filmmakers are going to solve the issue.
