Virata Parvam Teaser Is Finally Out!

As announced earlier, Megastar Chiranjeevi has released the teaser of the upcoming movie ‘Virata Parvam’ on Thursday and the promo shows that the movie to be a hard-hitting drama revolving around the Naxalite movement, which has taken place in Telangana in the 1990s. Helmed by Venu Udugula of ‘Needi Naadi Oke Katha’ fame, the film, Virata Parvam features a star cast such as Nivetha Pethuraj, Nanditha Das, Priyamani, Naveen Chandra, Zareena Wahab, Eswari Rao, Rahul Ramakrishna and Sai Chand.

The teaser of Virata Parvam starts off with Naxalite commander Ravanna writing powerful poetry about the hegemony, discrimination barrier and the acts of feudal landlords against people in the hinterlands of Telangana. Lead actress, Sai Pallavi is introduced as Vennela, who is a village belle and head over heels in admiration with the character of Rana. While she leaves home and embarks on a journey to meet Ravanna, the actress runs into the police who brutally assault and imprison her. And then a fierce gun battle between the Naxals and police will happen and the following proceedings form the crux of the story? The word said by Sai Pallavi’s character at the end of the promo is really intense.

Scheduled for a worldwide release on April 30th, the film Virata Parvam has been in the making for more than a year and the outbreak of COVID has delayed the release date. However, the shoot of the intense action entertainer resumed from November and got wrapped up in a very short time. While cinematography is done by Dani Sanchez-Lopez and Suresh Bobbili has composed the music for the film.
