Yash to Replace Mahesh Babu?

Puri Jagannadh is struggling from years for a proper hit. Though his film ‘Ism’ has achieved success, it didn’t bring his lost fame as the hero of the film, Kalyan Ram got the credits for it! His later films Rogue, Paisa Vasool and Mehbooba are back-to-back disasters. Finally, his recent film ‘Ismart Shankar’ has given him peace of mind and happiness. The film has become a blockbuster and is still running in theatres successfully even after 20 days.

Now, Puri is planning to start his dream project ‘Jana Gana Mana’. Earlier, he thought of roping in Superstar Mahesh Babu but the plan didn’t work out as Mahesh is not satisfied with the script. Puri also commented Mahesh, saying that Mahesh will only work with him when he has hits. Puri also cleared that he is not going to work with Mahesh, even if Mahesh is okay to work with him now. So, it is clear that Mahesh is not the hero in Jana Gana Mana.

The rumors that Vijay Devarakonda will be starred in this film were also rife for a few days. However, Vijay cleared that no one approached him to act in that movie. Now, some interesting news is revealed by the sources that Puri approached Yash and narrated the story for which Yash agreed immediately! As Puri felt that Jana Gana Script has universal appeal, he is planning to release the film in different languages.
