Yatra is the much-awaited movie of YSR fans as it is a partial biopic of this late politician. The movie has hit the screens today. Let’s review it now.
Director: Mahi V. Raghav
Cast: Mammootty, Jagapati Babu, Suhasini
Yatra Story:
The story is all about YSR’s padayatra. The film shows how he won many hearts by announcing different policies that are useful to people. The problems formed by this great leader were also shown in the film.
Yatra Review:
Mammootty is the heart and soul of Yatra! His performance in emotional scenes made every man in the theatre cry. His dubbing and body language are his assets. Rao Ramesh as KVP did his best. Jagapathi Babu as Raja Reddy is superb. Sachin Khedekar as the senior congressman is neat. The actress who played YSR’s wife is neat. Anasuya did well, though she got a small role.
Overall, every actor of the actor did justice to their roles. Small fights between YSR and Congress leaders have been showcased in a gripping manner. Dialogues were too good as they reflect common man pain due to his daily life problems. YSR introducing the policies like Arogyasri was presented well. The main focus is on YSR’s padayatra which was shown perfectly.
Director Mahi V. Raghav put a lot of efforts that was clearly seen on the screen. It is definitely a life-changing movie for him!
