111-Year-Old Bachan Singh Comes Out To Cast His Vote

Age is only a number, says a relative of 111-year-old Bachan Singh, the most established voter in Delhi who conveyed young energy into the polling station in Tilak Vihar in New Delhi.
Till the last Assembly elections in 2015, the centenarian cycled to the surveying corner to make his choice. This time, he achieved the stall in a vehicle alongside survey officers in full media glare.
He was later wheeled into the booth both utilizing a seat.
A loss of motion assault around a quarter of a year prior had rendered the centenarian out of commission. Despite the fact that Mr. Bachan Singh can't talk like the manner in which he did previously, yet he realizes how significant his vote is.
"I will vote in favor of the individuals who worked for us," he said.
Strangely, Mr. Bachan Singh doesn't know there's a party called the AAP and that Arvind Kejriwal is the Chief Minister of Delhi.
"He doesn't realize that the Aam Aadmi Party exists. For him, each election has been a challenge between the BJP and the Congress," his child, Jasbeer Singh, 63, says.
Mr. Jasbeer Singh claims his dad has never passed up an election since 1951.
"Till a couple of years prior, he would cycle to the surveying stall and make his choice. He never required any assistance. He cooked for himself and invested a large portion of the energy doing seva in the gurdwara," Mr. Jasbeer Singh says.
The family says they have generally voted in favour of the Congress since previous Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru "upheld Namdhari Sikhs at the season of the partition".
However, they think the Aam Aadmi party ought to be given another opportunity in Delhi
