4 Names For Rajya Sabha Finalised By Jagan

The ruling Party of AP appears to have finalized its 4 candidates for the ensuing Rajya Sabha polls. As per a close source, Deputy Chief Minister Pilli Subhas Chandra Bose, minister Mopidevi Venkata Ramana, a senior leader of the party Ayodhya Rami Reddy and Reliance group vice-president Parimal Natwani will be fielded by the party that has a huge majority in the Assembly and their election will be a mere formality.
Pilli and Mopidevi are members of the AP Legislative Council. Being senior leaders who stood by the party through thick and thin, they were inducted into the Cabinet as MLCs, though both had lost in the Assembly polls last year. With the Council being abolished they are now rewarded through Rajya Sabha seats, it is said.
Industrialist Ayodhya Rami Reddy proved to be loyal to YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, while Reliance chairman Mukesh Ambani who personally met YS Jagan Mohan last week and sought the favor recommends Natwani.
All 4 would be nominated for the Rajya Sabha seats from the Andhra Pradesh State that will fall vacant on April 9 with the tenures of T Subbarami Reddy, Mohd Ali Khan, K Keshava Rao, and Thota Seetharama Lakshmi, coming to an end. Elections for the seats will be held on March 26, and counting of votes will be held on the same day.
