A Janasena–BJP alliance is desired by Jagan in Telangana
The BJP is making every effort to gain PawanKalyan's support for the Telangana BJP. The party is enthusiastic about youth voting in Janasena and MunnuruKapu in Telangana. Amit Shah, the minister of the interior, personally visited PawanKalyan in Delhi in an effort to persuade him to join the alliance. It seems as though PawanKalyan melts away whenever BJP Delhi leaders grant him preferential treatment.
However, the Janasena-BJP alliance may prove perilous at this juncture. In Telangana, the BJP is not in a position to prevail. At most, PawanKalyan's party-strengthening would result in an increase in support and a division of the anti-government vote.
This will benefit only BRS. Should BRS secure the state of Telangana, KCR will make every effort to ensure Jagan maintains control of Andhra Pradesh. This was evident during the 2019 elections. Telangana ought to be a KCR vs. Congress election. Another term will be easier for KCR to win in a three-way contest. For the betterment of the Janasena in Andhra Pradesh, PawanKalyan should avoid the BJP in Telangana.
Leaders of the Telangana BJP have stated on multiple occasions that their affiliation with the Janasena is not official and that the dispute solely pertains to Andhra Pradesh. PawanKalyan ought to be able to discern the ruse of this election.
