AP CM Naidu Meets BJP Leaders Ahead of Membership Drive in Andhra Pradesh
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu met with BJP State President D. Purandeswari and BJP National Joint General Secretary (Organization) Shiv Prakash at his camp office on Tuesday. The meeting comes as the BJP gears up for its membership drive, set to begin on September 1. Earlier in the day, the BJP State unit held a meeting with its MPs, MLAs, and ministers at Purandeswari’s residence to strategize for the upcoming drive.
During the meeting, led by Purandeswari and Shiv Prakash, the leaders stressed the importance of the enrolment drive in bolstering the party’s presence in Andhra Pradesh. After the meeting, Purandeswari addressed the media, criticizing the YSRC for casting doubts on the election results due to their poor performance in the general elections. She expressed confidence that the BJP’s upcoming membership drive would surpass previous efforts, significantly expanding the party’s base in the state.
The BJP is focusing on increasing its membership and support in Andhra Pradesh as part of a broader strategy to strengthen its political influence in the region. Party leaders are optimistic that the new membership drive will attract more supporters and fortify their position ahead of future elections.
