Affirmative On Quitting Rahul Calls Another Meeting
The Congress party is mostly led by Nehru Gandhi Family since the independence, with the macerate defeat in the Lok Sabha elections of 2019, Rahul Gandhi the party president, taking full responsibility of the loss, presented his resignation as party president, which was not accepted by the party.
The party leaders have asked Rahul to reconsider the resignation, however Rahul Gandhi, firm on the decision has called upon another meeting were the names for the next party president might be discussed. Not only was Rahul fixed to his quitting he has also asked that neither his mother nor his sister should be considered as party president, but this also threw the party in a more confusing state than it already was.
However, Rahul Gandhi assured the party leaders and member’s that he will give them enough time to search for new party president and until then he will serve the party as a soldier.
