Andhra Pradesh CM Narrowly Escapes Train Mishap During Flood Inspection
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu narrowly escaped on Thursday while assessing flood-affected areas. The incident occurred on the Madhura Nagar railway bridge, where Naidu was surveying the flood situation.
The bridge, primarily intended for railway traffic, has limited space for pedestrians. While Naidu was walking along the tracks, a train suddenly appeared on the same line. Acting swiftly, his security team pulled him away from the track just in time, as the train sped by, missing him by inches.
For the past five days, Naidu has been visiting flood-hit areas, often disregarding security precautions. He has waded through knee-deep waters and even joined NDRF rescue teams on boats to assess the damage firsthand.
