Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh Confirms Existence of 'Red Book' Targeting Alleged Wrongdoers
In a potential game-changer, Andhra Pradesh's Minister for Education, IT, and Electronics, Nara Lokesh, has confirmed the existence of a 'Red Book'. This book reportedly contains the names of officials and leaders from the YSR Congress (YSRC) who allegedly harassed members of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and the public. Speaking to reporters in the Assembly lobby on the last day of the Assembly sessions, Lokesh asserted that he had the Red Book in his possession and had mentioned it in over 90 public meetings. He reiterated his commitment to including the names of all the "wrongdoers" in the Red Book and ensuring they are punished according to the law.
Lokesh claimed that even before the Red Book was revealed, YSRC leader Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy had already gone to Delhi, causing a stir. He noted that the Red Book has recently gained attention in the national media. Lokesh also pointed out that the YSRC won 11 seats with Jagan Mohan Reddy holding only two media conferences in the last five years, whereas Reddy has held five media conferences in the past month alone.
Lokesh emphasized that if Jagan Mohan Reddy attends the assembly, he will be treated respectfully, and the facts will be explained clearly. He assured that the alliance leaders would refrain from using foul language or disrespecting the family members of the YSRC leader. The five-day session of the Andhra Pradesh Assembly concluded on Friday, with AP Legislative Assembly Speaker Ch. Ayyanna Patrudu and AP Legislative Council Chairman K. Moshen Raju both declaring sine die (adjournment until next session) for their respective houses.
