Apple introduces faster M3 iMac at ‘Scary Fast’
Apple's 'Scary Fast' event began Tuesday morning. Apple introduced new Macs with its latest processor during the launch event.
Apple says the M3, M3 Pro, and M3 Max are the ‘first personal computer chips’ designed using 3-nanometer technology.In addition to a ‘faster and more efficient CPU,’ the trio of processors boasts an upgraded GPU for ray tracing, mesh shading, and Dynamic Caching, which optimises memory utilization during activities, the Verge claimed.
The most powerful M3 Max chip has 92 billion transistors, a 40-core GPU, and a 16-core CPU and supports 128GB of unified memory.
Apple claims the new 24-inch iMac's M3-flavored upgrade is twice as fast as its M1 predecessor. With the new processor, the updated iMac has a 4.5K retina display with over 1 billion colors, Wi-Fi 6E, and a 1080p camera.The iMac offers up to 24GB of unified memory and comes in green, yellow, orange, pink, purple, blue, and silver. The iMac has Lightning-connected accessories that match its color.
