Aravind Kejriwal Warns People Not to Vote for Congress
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday warned people not to vote for Congress in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Earlier, it is rumored that AAP will tie-up with Congress for upcoming elections but now, Kejriwal’s words clarified that he is not going to merge with anyone.
"Don't vote for the Congress at all, if you vote for the Congress it will strengthen Narendra Modi. Let your votes not be split and give all seven parliamentary seats to AAP," said Mr. Kejriwal.
Senior Congress leader and former Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit said that the national leadership will decide on a tie-up for 2019 and she will follow it.
Senior AAP leader Gopal Rai recently said the party's political affairs committee will take the decision after taking opinions from all the party leaders, after January 15th.
The national executive of AAP decided to contest all the seats in Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Goa and Chandigarh, and other places (total 33), in the Lok Sabha elections.
