BJP Leader’s Comments On Godse Against Our Ideology: Amit Shah
BJP president Amit Shah on May 17 turned out unequivocally against the disputable comments of his party leaders, including Pragya Singh Thakur, over Nathuram Godse, saying the BJP has taken genuine note of their announcements, which are against its ideology.
Mr. Shah hosts asked the gathering's disciplinary advisory group to present a report on the issue in 10 days for further activity.
In a progression of tweets, he said the comments made by Anantkumar Hegde, Ms. Thakur, and Nalin Kateel are against the BJP's ideology, and the party has taken genuine note of their announcements.
Mr. Shah likewise said these remarks were their own announcements and had no connection with the party.
"They have pulled back their announcements and have likewise apologized. Be that as it may, their comments are against the propriety of open life and the BJP, and furthermore against the party's ideology.
"Taking genuine note of their comments, the party has chosen to send them to the disciplinary panel," Mr. Shah said.
Ms. Thakur had on Thursday said Godse was a "patriot", while on Friday, Mr. Hegde tweeted that he was "happy" over the discussion on Godse, yet later asserted that his record had been hacked.
Mr. Kateel, a BJP MP from Karnataka, in a tweet, contrasted Godse and Rajiv Gandhi.
