BJP leaders eyes TDP leaders in Telangana
After gaining a major victory in Lok Sabha Elections at the center, Bhartiya Janta Party is now eyeing to consolidate seats with their earlier ally, the Telugu Desam Party in both states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Bhartiya Janta Party has got a new ray of hope after winning four seats in the Telangana State and is now working towards making these two states as the second largest base camp of BJP in south only after Karnataka.
The Senior BJP leaders have informed that after the worst performance of the Telugu Desam Party, many TDP leaders are planning to join BJP, however, the TDP leader later responded saying that the BJP is crossing their boundaries by affecting the regulatory framework and persuading the parties for defection. Though the spokesperson of the BJP have been denying these facts and informed that no persuasive action has been initiated by the party to poach the TDP or congress members by pressure tactics or coercive measures.
With the recently announced election results, the existence of other parties have been shaken badly and now their existence has come to danger. This can also shake the beliefs of the other parties members which may attract them to join BJP. It appears that the nation is gain heading towards one party democracy, this time with BJP as earlier used to be the case with Congress. Now, we have to see if BJP can capture these two State elections also with its growing popularity.
