BJP will win 22 of 28 Lok Sabha seats, says Yeddyurappa
Karnataka BJP chief BS Yeddyurappa has been in news but this time for wrong reasons. He on Wednesday "Yesterday we entered Pakistan territory and destroyed three camps of terrorists. This has brought a pro-Modi wave all through the country. The effect of this will be seen in the Lok Sabha elections. All this will help us in winning more than 22 Lok Sabha seats (in Karnataka)."
This received huge criticism from all parties and people. Karnataka Chief Minister KD Kumaraswamy, reacting to Mr Yeddyurappa's comments, tweeted that the entire nation is united to support the armed forces while BJP leader Yeddyurappa is busy counting how many more votes will the air strike bring in.
Even the Congress unit in Madhya Pradesh tweeted: "They have no shame. The country is tense, our pilot is in Pakistan's custody, soldiers' families are worried, and BJP is counting seats...Such lowdown politics."
Meanwhile, with one of our pilot in Pakistan's custody, all efforts are being done to get him back safe.
