BRS Working President KT Rama Rao Extends Support to Struggling Folk Artist Mogulaiah
BRS working president KT Rama Rao fulfilled his promise by extending financial aid to Darshanam Mogulaiah, a renowned 'Kinnera' musician and Padma Shri awardee, at his residence. Responding to reports of Mogulaiah's struggles as a daily wage laborer due to the non-receipt of his monthly honorarium from the State government for the past five months, Rama Rao urged the government to fulfill its assurances, including restoring Mogulaiah's Rs 10,000 monthly honorarium.
Inviting Mogulaiah to his residence, Rama Rao personally provided financial assistance, emphasizing the importance of supporting folk artists like Mogulaiah, who are integral to Telangana's cultural pride. Mogulaiah expressed gratitude to Rama Rao for the timely support during his financial hardships, acknowledging the significance of the assistance for his family's well-being.
