CBN looks deserted at NTR birthday celebrations

For the first time, the birthday celebrations of Telugu Desam Party founder and former chief minister N T Rama Rao were held in a totally lack-luster way on Tuesday, as the party confronted mortifying destruction in the just-finished up assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh.
Following a hole of five days, Naidu surfaced out in the open at the TDP headquarters in Guntur to pay tribute to his father-in-law.
In spite of the fact that hundreds of TDP workers went to the celebrations, the rapture among them was incredibly missing as they looked disheartened over the destruction of the party.
Naidu himself looked pale and dull, as he garlanded the statue of NTR and addressed the party workers quickly.
The fire in his voice was missing as he made a normal address saying the party had strength and workers have the ethical bravery to withstand the disturbance.
"The TDP workers had made immense sacrifices. We did our best to give great administration to the state and took up the advancement and welfare programs. NTR should be an inspiration to us. He didn't lose strength despite confronting several setbacks. We should gain from his experiences and assume a constructive job in the opposition," Naidu said.
He further said he would be accessible to party leaders and unit at Guntur office from Wednesday.
He said he would spend in any event three hours in Guntur party office and screen party affairs routinely.
NTR's grandson and former minister Nara Lokesh also took an interest in the program alongside TDP state president Kala Venkatrao, senior leaders Kodela Siva prasada Rao, Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, Prattipati Pulla Rao and Nakka Ananda Babu.
