CM KCR Calls Emergency Meeting Over Coronavirus Outbreak

On the day of Janta Curfew, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao called for an emergency meeting over coronavirus situation and discussed the future plans and precautionary measures to be taken to prevent the spread of the virus.
Reports are latest that the state is in a situation to get locked down till 31st March after an unprecedented response of Janta Curfew.
KCR also spoke to the state at 5 pm at the Pragathi Bhavan after the meeting. Not only this but to appreciate the selfless work of doctors, police, media, Hospital staff and others he took part in the clapping at 5 pm at the Pragati Bhavan, today, upon the advisory issued by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The government has already decided to cancel all events attracting the gathering of people. Chief Minister also called upon people to be away from community celebrations like festivals and other events. People should understand and cooperate with the measures being taken by the government and safeguard the State and their health. People should refrain from mass gatherings.
Coronavirus has affected more than 350 people in India and has claimed seven lives till now.
