CM KCR says that BRS will start a political storm in Maharashtra.
On Tuesday, Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Party President and Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao predicted the BRS would make significant gains in Maharashtra, causing a political storm in the neighbouring State.
He said that the party's presence was becoming increasingly palpable and felt across Maharashtra and that the overwhelming reaction from the people at the grassroots and the signals of BRS developing as a formidable force had become a major cause for concern among other political parties.
On Tuesday, a large group of prominent Maharashtrians gathered at Telangana Bhavan to form the BRS. The Chief Minister noted that several current MLAs from the State had previously been in contact with him. They insisted strongly on attending the gathering.
He told the party's leaders that the organization would be shaped on "mission mode" as they discussed tactics to strengthen its standing in the next local body elections.
He urged party members to spread the message of the 'Ab ki baar Kisan Sarkar' across all of Maharashtra between May 10 and June 10. As part of their campaign, the party was actively recruiting new members. Appointing coordinators at the district level would take just a few days. Six of the divisions have finished appointing assembly constituency in-charges. Appointments for the remaining 288 assembly districts were expected to be finalized shortly.
