CM Naidu and Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan to Lead Review Meeting on Key Rural and Environmental Projects in Andhra Pradesh

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu is set to hold an important review meeting today, focusing on several critical departments, including Panchayat Raj, Rural Development, Rural Water Supply, and Forestry. The meeting will also see active participation from Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, aiming to evaluate the progress and challenges in these sectors, particularly in relation to the National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (NREGA) projects implemented across the state.

A key focus of the review will be the implementation of NREGA initiatives, with special attention given to addressing any potential corruption issues carried over from the previous administration. Additionally, a special review of the management of Gram Sabhas is scheduled for the 23rd of this month, highlighting the government's strong commitment to ensuring transparency and accountability in local governance.

During the meeting, Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan is expected to provide insights from recent discussions with the Karnataka government on initiatives related to plant cultivation and urban forestry, underscoring the administration's dedication to sustainable development. Since taking office, Pawan Kalyan has actively led consecutive review meetings on the key departments under his jurisdiction, consistently inquiring about ongoing projects, available funding, and future plans.
