CM Naidu's Swift Action Accelerates Flood Relief Operations in Vijayawada
In response to the recent floods in Vijayawada, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu's proactive leadership has significantly sped up relief operations in the region. Following discussions with the central government, power boats were swiftly dispatched from various states to assist in relief efforts, providing a much-needed boost to operations in the flood-stricken areas.
The power boats are now being used to deliver food supplies in the heavily inundated Singhnagar area, where many residents remain stranded. With the increased availability of ships, the evacuation process has gained momentum, ensuring that more flood victims can be safely relocated from their waterlogged homes.
Chief Minister Naidu has also directed that evacuees be provided with clothing and essential supplies at the rehabilitation centers. The government has been distributing milk packets, food, and bottled water to those affected by the floods. Food supplies are being sourced from private hotels, the Durga Temple, and the Akshaya Patra Foundation to meet the needs of all victims.
Naidu personally oversaw the relief operations with another visit to the flood-affected areas, closely monitoring the ongoing efforts. His continuous reviews and on-the-ground presence have significantly enhanced the speed and effectiveness of the relief measures.
Under the Chief Minister's guidance, officials worked through the night to prepare and distribute food, ensuring that it reached those in need promptly. Naidu's commitment to staying in the affected areas, even overnight and despite adverse weather conditions, has inspired the relief teams to work more urgently. His hands-on approach and swift action have visibly accelerated the flood relief efforts, bringing much-needed aid to the affected communities in Vijayawada.
