CM Revanth Reddy's Compassionate Gesture: Aid to Family of Deceased Swiggy Delivery Worker

In a touching display of empathy, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has extended financial assistance to the grieving family of Mohd. Rizwan, a 23-year-old Swiggy delivery executive who tragically lost his life in January this year. Rizwan's unfortunate demise occurred when he leaped from the third floor of an apartment complex while carrying out a delivery, seeking refuge from a pursuing dog.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy personally presented a ₹2 lakh cheque from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund (CMRF) to the victim's family at the Secretariat, underscoring his commitment to the well-being of the state's residents.

This act of compassion was prompted by the Chief Minister's encounter with gig workers at Nampally Exhibition grounds on December 23, during which he was deeply moved by the tragic incident. Disheartened by the previous government's lack of response, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy took swift action upon learning of the family's struggles.

In a remarkable testament to efficient governance, officials promptly gathered the necessary information, facilitating a meeting between the victim's family and the Chief Minister at the Secretariat for the seamless distribution of financial support.
