In order to capitalise on the talent, the IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada) of Canada is now offering a hassle-free work permit for H1-B visa holders residing in the United States. Sean Fraser, Canada's Minister of Immigration, released attractive offers for H1-B visa holders already residing in the USA.
Tech professionals can come to Canada to seek employment without having a job offer.
In Canada, remote work is permitted for up to 6 months with a Digital Nomads Visa.
The families of people who have H-1B visas are permitted to work in Canada without a job offer.
According to the minister, as American layoffs increase, Canada has been paying close attention to the events in the technology sector and would gladly welcome around 10,000 H1-B visa holders to work in the country.
